Up for sale is a completely race built 250r. There are only a few stock items on this bike(frame, brakes kick starter etc.), most of everything was changed to turn the bike into a competitive TT, Flat Track, or Extreme Dirt Track Racing Quad. The bike could also be used to Drag Race with a few modifications(tires, gearing, etc.) The bike was built in the early 2000's and was raced a few seasons before I purchased it from Legacy ATV. They have since gone out of business unfortunately. They are the ones who worked the suspension, did the graphics, built the steering stem and rear seat holder etc. I raced it various times throughout the years but never put a full season on it and it has sat for the past 5 years in storage. In the past few months I have gotten it out of storage and done a once over on it and addressed any issues it had. I completely redid the fuel lines and filter, bled the front brakes, checked and topped off fluids cleaned the carb and gas tank, etc. I have since been riding it casually to make sure there are no running, starting, idling or over heating issues as well as any leaks. Everything checks out GREAT! This quad is ready for the track again! In 2008 I replaced the clutch with a Barnett Dirt Digger and freshened up the piston rings as well. All gaskets and seals that we were able to get to were replaced. The bike has had maybe 4 hours put on it since then. It starts right up from cold and has a consistent idle. It is NOT a show quad by any means and bears some scars from racing along with major staining from the clay.
