1986 Chevrolet El Camino with 20,219 original documented miles. Purchased from the original owner's estate 2 years ago with 17,500 miles. The original owner passed away in 2011 and the car sat in his climate controlled garage in Illinois until the family decided to sell his home and belongings. Car originally sold new at Jim Smith Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Coal City, Illinois on 06/10/1986, delivered with 4 miles. Car is a time capsule, exterior paint is beautiful the factory seal/paint has never been broken/repainted. The interior is outstanding. Since I purchased the car I drove it a little over 1,000 miles a year and also stored it in a climate controlled garage. If you are looking for a near new G-Body this is it, just turn the key and go, everything works like new. Every panel. Quarters, doors, hood, fenders etc. are factory original and 100% rust free. The car has never had an accident, fender bender or any paint work done to it. The car had been Under coated by Rusty Jones right after it was purchased new in 1986. You can see it on the lower doors, lower quarters, under the hood and in the engine compartment. It can be removed with gasoline, see quarter under gas door. If you were to restore a El Camino to this standard it would be quite costly and you still would not have the factory fresh fit and finish, including all those great OEM parts this vehicle has.
