He did not take into account that he lived 3000 miles away from where the car is located. We report non paying bidders to Ebay.The car is located near Charlotte, NC and will have to be trailered back to your location. You will be responsible for loading but we will assist with manpower and equipment any way we can. Once the car is loaded, it is yours, no returns. Please ask any questions you have before bidding. We really appreciate everyone that looks and/or bids on this item. Thanks for your time. Up for sale is a one owner 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe. This would be an excellent buy for someone with a car of this type who might need parts in the future or someone doing a restoration now who will need an engine, transmission, differential, steering parts, etc. The history on this car is that it was bought new by the owner (now deceased). He drove the car until around 1972 when he decided to quit driving due to his age. The car was parked in a field and the water and gasoline were drained out. The car was driven up until the day it was parked. The only time the car has moved since was in 1989 when it was moved to a different site in the same field. It has set there since. The sheet metal has one dent above the right rear wheel opening, a dent at the right headlight and other small dents. The sheet metal is very rough due to exposure to the elements.The rocker panels under the doors are rusted through There is rust and you can see from the photos where the body panels have holes in them All chrome is there except for the rocker panel chrome. All glass is in place. The only cracked glass is on the driver door window and driver door vent window. The interior is dry but is in bad shape due to being out in the open. All gauges and the clock are in place. All interior mouldings, door handles, and instrument knobs are in place. The engine is all there and has been rotated. The transmission and differential are all there. 80076 is the actual mileage. This car is unusual in that it was running fine and being driven until the day it was parked. There have been no parts removed or damaged all the time it has been parked. This would make an excellent parts car for someone who needs engine, transmission, differential, suspension, or interior parts. Everything is there. We are selling the car with the assumption that the title is lost, but we will look for the title and give it to the buyer if it can be found. We will also work with the buyer to get a replacement North Carolina title if he or she wishes to apply for one. The purchaser will need to make a nonrefundable deposit of $200 within 10 hours of the end of the auction with the balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction. You will have 60 days from the end of the sale to come pick up the car. If you need additional time, we will try to work with you but fullpayment must still be made within 7 days of the end of the sale. The car is located 15 miles north of the intersection of Interstate 85 and Interstate 77 in North Carolina. The car is a 15 minute drive from the Charlotte Motor Speedway, site of the Charlotte Motorfair Car Show being held April 9-17. This car is also being advertised for sale locally so we reserve the right to cancel this auction any time prior to a bid being place on Ebay.
