Must sell reducing my collection of a Mercedes diesels because of space. I'm sad to say but here it is.... 1993 Mercedes 300sd/S350 A solid running vehicle built like no other in every aspect (overengineered German tank,vault on wheels) better described. Then engine is smooth and strong and extremely quiet for a diesel. Lots of power and cruises with ease at triple digit speeds. Does not burn and use oil. It had a Mercedes replacement short block around 50.000 miles. I have had the oppurtunity to own several of these fine vehicles and have enjoyed every minute of them. They have proven to be extremely reliable with minimal maintainance. This Beautiful classic Mercedes is one ofthe best or if not the best vehicles i have ever driven. It starts right up runs down the road quiet with amazing isolation from the outdoors. The dual panel glass realy muffles the exterior noise. The engine runs great with minimal or no smoke at all. The transmission shifts smooth and tight and reverse engages imediately.The tires are great, the front are new. The brakes are good and free of noise and vibration. The interior smells great and the leather is perfect as are the carpets. The dash is nice and clean. the wood has some small cracks here and there. The power locks do not operate,Probably something minor. The close assit works fine. The A/C works amazingly and is ice ice cold. The steering is smooth. The windows operate. The sunroof opens,closes and tilt perfectly. The exterior is clean. There are some imperfections here and there,However it looks great. All the lights work great. The antenna is inoperable. The windshied is perfect. I drive this Mercedes every day and is a pleasure to drive.Its rarity adds to the pleasure... The Mercedes dominates the road and is a wonderful highway mile eater and does with frugality. I have just serviced it and replaced the following. Belt and tensioner assembly including pully anf tensioner shock. Air conditioning compressor and all assosiated components. Repaired all oil leaks including behind injection pump. Radiator Coolant and waterpump Drive shaft bearing and bracket. Oil change and filter. Main filter and primary fuel filters. Yes it is ready for the open road.
