Vehicle Detail

1968 Ford Mustang Coupe. This vehicle was built by Kodiak Advanced Automotive Technology in 1998 for the purpose of a charity raffle. There were 1000 tickets sold at 25.00 each. The winner drove the car sparingly and then parked it in early 2000. There is very few miles on this vehicle since it's restoration. I do have pictures and receipts that will go with the sale documenting the raffle of the vehicle. They started with a clean 1968 mustang coupe with a 289. Stripped the body, added a custom Shelby deck lid and extensions, trio primed, tech primed, and added a royal blue with flames custom base coat / clear coat paint job. The jambs, engine bay, and parts of the undercarriage were all painted royal blue at the same time. They then replaced the 289 with a 351 Windsor, bored 30 over, PAW Super Stock Crank Kit, Flat top pistons 10.5:1 compression. Balanced crank and rod .010 under. 69cc heads with 3 angle valve job, Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake, lifters, and cam, Edelbrock 750 carb, Mallory Unilite electronic ignition distributor, PAW high volume oil pump, Edelbrock valve covers, Crane 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Double Roller timing chain. The exhausts consists of Headman Headers, 2.5" dual exhaust, Edelbrock RPM mufflers, and RPM exhaust tips. The transmission is a rebuilt c4 automatic with a B&M shift kit and Quicksilver shifter The rear end is a Ford 9" with 3.55 gears! The cooling system was replaced with a heavy duty radiator, Hayden dual electric fans, and Edelbrock water pump. Disc brakes were added on the front, with all new stainless brake lines front to rear. KYB Shocks on all 4 corners. The interior received new upholstery, carpet, headliner, dash cover, and a mahogany steering wheel. Tires and wheels are brand new. The car runs, drives, and sounds great. Lot's of money and hard work went into building this vehicle. There are a few chips and nicks in the paint, as you would expect from a car that was painted almost 20 years ago, but it still looks good. It has been inside in a garage since it's restoration. The fuel system was just flushed, a new battery was installed, and it's ready to go. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you,
