The VIN is displayed on the builder's plate below: Selling a very rare in the USA 1997 Alfa Spider with a low 36,000 miles (documented proof available from new). This car has the very reliable 2.0 Twin spark motor. Absolutely everything works on the car. Winning bidder will receive a clear US title and a scanned copy will be furnished to that winning bidder ahead of the payment on the car. Because I purchased the car on US soil, there is no import paperwork to accompany this Alfa. This car should transfer to any state except California. Cosmetically the car is nearly perfect and is better then you might expect for a car of this vintage and mileage. The prior owner has never driven the car in winter so the undercarriage is nearly rust/corrosion free. The canvas top has no rips, tears, or fraying of the stitching. A brand new, still in the box convertible top made by ROBBINS, does come with this Spider. I just noticed all my pics were taken with the top down and will look for top up pics and post later. Also, the pics were all taken last summer and very little mileage was placed on the car since. When the winning bidder picks up the car, the condition will be exactly as presented in the pics. Should the weather clear up this week, I'll get the car out of the garage for some recent photo's. Mechanically absolutely everything works. Less than 500 miles on new clutch. Recently replaced variator. A fresh oil change will be done prior to the new owner picking up the car. The pics do show some upgrades and mods done in 2014 on the Spider including:1. Momo Nero wheel 2. installation of Bollente sway bars 3. custom stainless steel twin pipe exhaust4. custom suspension installed including coilover shocks and yellow coil springs5. 17" Enkei wheels with brand new tires I'm a collector of rare, exotic, and unique cars and have sold many on eBay. I will show the car and allow test drives but please contact me first for my travel schedule. Can provide free airport transportation from either Buffalo or Toronto (both are about 90 min apart).
