I am offering this 1977 VW Bus up for sale . I bought with intentions of using this summer ,but things have changed , so I am going to try this auction and see what happens . I know the chances of finding another one in this condition is getting extremely hard to find . This 1977 Bus was originally purchased in southern California where it spent the majority of its life . This Van has been loved by its owners and well cared for over the years of good service . The bus is powered by a 2.0L very reliable aircooled engine , which runs strong with all its stock fuel injection still intact. 4spd manual transmission shifts smooth . Bus drives down the road very well. The body of this bus is simply amazing . There is no rust to speak of . The usual places bus rust , are not apparent on this one . The rockers are original paint and as solid as it gets . floors are rock solid . There may be a small spot of surface rust on drivers front floor . But its just that . super super solid !! Buses in this condition are just getting impossible to find . There hes been a couple bumps over the years and repaired . One on the front upper passenger side of nose , its showing its signs of age , as it was repaired many years ago . But still is very presentable . Also a small area on the drivers rear corner had some blend work done years ago . Not sure what was damaged but you can see the blend is slightly a different shade of yellow and is thinning . But over all its is a great solid original paint bus . Has a little paint fade here and there where the yellow has faded to primer . But it is a stunning example of a survivor quality bus . The interior is still in great original condition . Walkthrough front seats . Missing middle seat ,but has full rear . The rear seat has a dealer installed Z bed kit . The whole rear seat folds out to a bed , great for that weekend getaway or road trip . Also comes with the pad to match when seats are folded down . headliner in good shape, door panels are good . They show there age bus its an older vehicle . Just ads character .. If you are looking for a great bus with tons of character this just might be it . Talk about attention well this one will attract smiles on everyone's face including your own as you drive this baby around . I purchased the van from a gentleman that is in the air force .So it still has a Maryland Title . The title is clear and signed off by him . I can provide a current bill of sale from me to the next owner . This is a used vehicle and is sold in as is condition .
