The brake linings on the front/rear hubs are excellent as well. Everything was glass bead blasted before powder coating. Much more durable, easy to clean and it won't rust. looks brand new for a long, long time. Clutch and flywheel covers powder coated once in silver metallic and then in clear. Matches well with the original Honda cloud silver and sparkles nicely in the sunlight. The seat bracket, gas tank bracket and the lever tips were powder coated in gloss black. The headlight bucket and speedometer bracket in satin black. The 1972 footpegs are the best set of pegs in my opinion. The have three positions that snap into place instead of the original style ball bearings that eventually wear grooves in the base and the bearings escape. Gloss black and all the hardware has been zinc coated. These are perfectly straight. Very nice. There is probably more but you get the idea. I believe it's as good as it gets. I have been restoring these for several years. I primarily restore the early models specializing in the 4 speeds. They only made them for two years and are the most sought after. It's the awesome candy colors and all that chrome! I have shipped them all over the country and have many repeat customers. I do have others. Candy Gold, Candy Ruby Red, Candy Sapphire Blue K0 3 speeds. Candy Emerald Green Candy Topaz Orange, Candy Blue Green 4 speeds, and even Candy Yellow Special. I can build to your custom specifications and rebuild original Honda engines to 88cc or 108cc. You are welcome to inspect the bike in person. I can assist you with shipping. You are welcome to pick up or make your own shipping arrangements. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I have quite a few more pictures if there is something specific you would like to see. The 1972 Honda Trail 70 4 speed is truly the "Holy Grail" of the early 1970's minibike renaissance. Highly collectible and will surely increase in value as the reach the upcoming 50 year anniversary. Thank you for your time and consideration.
