Up for your consideration is my 1985 Chevy Silverado. This truck is a perfect example of a truck that has been very well taken care of. It has been garage kept for most of it's years and has the original paint to prove it. Previous owner had a few small touch ups due to thin paint. So as you can see the original paint still has a shine but not new. I didn't want to paint the truck because the paint is good enough as it is for me. It has a 305 four barrel engine that runs good. The truck has a new headliner, rear shocks and new tires. Also brakes have been redone. I had the transmission rebuilt about 300. miles ago. This truck has a 2.56 rear end ratio. The air condition has a new compressor installed by previous owner and blows ice cold. Everything works on this truck except the cruise control. It worked when I bought the truck and then quit. Might be a fuse but not sure. This truck has a Leonard fiberglass high rise shell on it and has had from time it was new. The inside of the bed is really nice. Like a time capsule. It shows that the truck has never been used as a truck. There are no visible signs of body damage or rust. It has bucket seats and a console in it for a more sporty look and the seats really rides well and looks good in the truck. I had them professionally installed after I bought it.I have an original dash pad that has no cracks and is the same color as the original one that I will let go with the truck. The truck has only146,558 miles on it which is very low for the year . Also has a hitch trailer harness and electric brake control that works. I would not be afraid to drive the truck anywhere You could make this your daily driver or with very little effort have a nice show truck. As you know, these truck are really desirable and collectable now. I do not know of any mechanical issues with the truck. It is a 20 year old unrestored Truck and is not perfect but very nice.You will be hard pressed to find a truck in this condition that has not been restored.
