This 2007 Subaru Outback wagon is nearly flawless in terms of cosmetics, wear & tear, etc. No dents, no major scratches, no corrosion, very good tires with lots of tread remaining. Immaculate interior, too. Super clean car all around. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. All major maintenance (both with the 1st owner & me) was handled by the original delaership (Team Kunkle's in Delmont, PA). Now then...the engine has a bad rod bearing. It has not actually thrown the rod itself, and it has not been driven since the knock started (just to be safe & prevent any significant engine damage). Since the knock appeared, my husband did perform a very thorough engine flush to remove the particulates from the bearing going bad. And the crank case has been refilled with standard 5w30 oil (plus a new STP oil brand filter). The engine starts just fine & will go into gear. (I only mention that so no one gets the idea that the engine is seized up or anything of that nature). If you are mechanically inclined (we're not!) & you have a large, heated garage (we do not!), this should be a relatively easy repair for you. Or you could opt to have your favorite mechanic handle the work for you. Either way, you'll have a great car for a great price that'll keep on running for years to come! In addition to the final sale prices of the vehicle, the buyer will be responsible for all associated fees (PA state auto sales taxes, title transfer, notary, new plate [if you need one], etc.).
