For Sale: Restored 1965 Mustang coupe with low mileage in very good condition. Phoenix DSO one owner Arizona car until original owner's death brought it to Colorado in 2014. V8 2 barrel "C" code 289 c.i. engine with C4 automatic transmission. Original color combination: Wimbledon white with Red deluxe "pony" interior. Power Brakes Air Conditioning Center Console Details: NO RUST The areas of frequent rust issues in mustangs - lower front fenders, cowl, door corners & bottoms, floors, quarter panels - HAVE NO RUST! Door interiors treated with Waxoyl to retard possible future rust, interior floors were painted Wimbledon white like car exterior, quarters are original & unpatched. Car underside has been painted with red oxide primer with no undercoating to hide rust. Wheel wells are bed lined to protect from rock chips & subsequent rust. 289 engine runs strong without smoking or other issues. Has a new Holley 2300 carb, recent oil change & tune, and Pertronix electronic ignition. C4 automatic transmission was completely rebuilt with warranty in late 2014 . New tires and shock absorbers all around. Original hub caps. Brakes work well and were recently bled. New windshield. Glass is good with a few minor scuffs on the driver's window Restored interior looks good. Original AM radio worked 3 months ago, but has recently quit (may just be the power cord) Original antenna mast broken but radio reception was fine - and this makes putting on the car cover a lot easier! New fuel tank & sender. Trunk area is restored and includes the AZ front & rear license plates that were on the car when I got it & historic inspection stickers that the original owner had stuck under the trunk lid. New rubber for hood, doors, and trunk lid. Good quality PPG paint has appropriate Ford factory orange peel, but can be buffed out further if desired. New side emblems and front bumper. New dual exhaust with crossover pipe and GT trumpets. New gas cap, trunk mat & spare cover. Original lug wrench & jack are included under spare tire. AC system may need freon. Battery disconnect included for convenience and security. Overall a very solid driver mustang without rust issues. I think everything except lighter, radio, and temp gauge work well.
