Very well maintained Below is a very detailed description of the car from top to bottom: Vehicle Condition Engine -- Perfect. Starts right up, idles super smooth. See pic of instrument panel. Engine is idling in this pic. You can see temperature needle perfect, charging needle perfect, and RPM idle perfect around 830. Sounds great. Acceleration is smooth and swift, no hesitation. No leaking fluids of any kind. No burning oil. Oil changes done regularly. While the car has 206,000 miles, the engine only has 99,000 miles. The engine was NOT a rebuild or anything. I do not believe in rebuilt engines; it must be all original. Another engine from an identical factory original 1991 MR2 was installed into this car 4 years ago. Same as the original engine. No modifications. The engine came from someone who wanted to upgrade his MR2 to a turbo engine. This was installed 4 years ago, lower mileage! The engine had 95,000 miles when installed and in like new condition. The engine sounds like new. Also, the timing belt was replaced as well, so you don't have to worry about that. Transmission -- Perfect. Shifts smooth and fluid between all gears. Overdrive button and light works great. Low gears 2 and L work great as well. No issues, operates like new. Transmission fluid was changed at the recommended intervals. Steering – Perfect. Tight, no pulls, no vibrations, no shaking. The car drives straight as an arrow like new. Power steering works great. Suspension – Perfect. Drives great, handles well. No noises, no clunks, like new. Brakes – Perfect. No shaking, no pulling, no noises. Like new. The brake master cylinder was replaced last year with OEM Toyota part, and all new brake fluid. The brake pads have over 80% left. Tires – The rear tires are new, with only 200 miles on them. Front tires only 3,000 miles on them. Factory stock sizes, with the wider tires in the rear. Factory size is 195/60/14 in the front, and 205/60/14 in the rear. Rims – Original Toyota rims. Two are excellent condition. The other two have a little curb rash in some areas, but still good condition. Battery – Perfect. Brand new battery installed in December. Exterior panels – No accidents. All panels have the original VIN Toyota stickers on them, proving the car is completely original, same as when it was brand new. Guaranteed! Amazing! Very well taken care of and excellent condition for a 1991. I noticed in front of the right rear wheel well, on the side of the car at the very bottom where you can't really see, looks like curb hit it. The metal is bent. It's cosmetic, and can probably be bent back if it bothers you. It is hard to see unless you bend down the look for it underneath. There are some minor scuffs on the side rear lower bumper. Sunroof -- The sunroof works great. Like new, no cracks, no chips, no breaks. The sunroof is removable, and stores in the front trunk. The latches in the trunk that hold the sunroof work great. The sunroof does not leak, it is water tight. Headlights – Pop-up headlights work great like new. Exterior paint – This car has never been re-painted! It is super glossy and shiny, with the high quality original mirror shine factory Toyota paint. It has held up well because this car has been garage stored, and hardly out in the sun at all, which is what fades the finish. Also, I had it buffed two years ago and it came back like brand new. Also, I wax it at least twice a year, which keeps the finish glossy. Since this has never been repainted, there are some minor flaws as you would expect in a car of this age. The rear and front bumpers are very glossy, but not quite as glossy as the metal panels, as that is fiberglass. You will also find a few small nicks in the front end, as you would expect from driving over the years. There are also a couple of slight faded small areas on the top. All of these are minor flaws and barely noticeable and do not detract from the overall beauty of this car. It is always better to keep the car with its original factory paint, with its higher quality mirror shine, if it has been taken care of.Windows - All original, no cracks, no spider veins, no chips.You may have noticed that I removed the front OEM black license plate holder. I like the sleek clean look in the front without it. I still have it, it is like new, and included. I will put it back on before the auction ends. Interior The interior is in excellent condition as you can see, very well taken care of, adult owned, never abused. Being out of the sun keeps everything very nice. Plus with the Toyota high quality build, fit and finish, it is just remarkable to sit in and enjoy. Power windows – Work great, no issues.Power locks - The remote locks and unlocks doors, as well as activates and deactivates the alarm. Alarm works great, no issues.Power Mirrors – Do not work, but mirror can be adjusted manually. Cruise control – Works great, no issues. Courtesy lights – Work great, no issues. Tilt Wheel – Works great, no issues. Instrument Panel – All lights illuminate like newSteering Wheel and Airbag - All perfect. Last year I had everything checked, as they recommend checking the air bag function every 10 years or so. All is functioning like new. Seat adjustment and recline works great. Passenger seat – Excellent, like new, rarely sat in. Seat adjustment and recline works great. Air conditioning – Ice cold air conditioning works great, no issues. Heater - The heater works great, and the fan/blower works great. All of the climate control functions and lights work perfectly.Vents and vent controls - work great like new Trunk - The car comes with original Toyota donut spare tire, something that usually gets lost or replaced with an aftermarket full size spare over time. The spare is in excellent condition. Also includes original Toyota tool bag with Toyota logo on it, as well as the original jack and tire wrench!! This car will run to 350,000+ miles easy if taken care of with maintenance like oil changes and fluid changes. The engine only has about 99,000 on it! I am referring to the top of the dash, right near the windshield. Upon inspection, and you can see in the interior pics, the vinyl is slightly lifted, right around the passenger windshield defroster vent. The driver side hardly has any noticeable separation at all. You can see the passenger side in the interior view pics. This is purely cosmetic and has no bearing on the functionality of the vehicle. Thank you.
