Although the engine and transmission are in good working order, this is a NON-DRIVABLE full-sized Dodge van. I'll explain why it is non-drivable in a moment. The engine has approximately 400,000 miles -- odometer reads 298,126 BUT IT IS BROKEN -- and the rebuilt transmission has approximately 100,000. I believe that the reason that I've had such good luck with the engine is because fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil has been used since it was new. (As you may know, synthetic oil is used in jet airplanes and many semi tractors as well as cars.) I had a new timing chain installed in December 2009. Aside from general maintenance, this has been a very dependable vehicle. The reason it is non-drivable is because the steering linkage came loose from the Frame. I was backing into a parking place when it broke. Thanks to Indiana winters and salt, the frame has rust as does the lower panels of the doors and rear fenders. The car was custom built with captain type front seats and a back seat that folds down to a 3/4 bed. It is fully-loaded. The A/C compressor was rebuilt several years ago, but does not work due to an electrical problem, I believe. Consider that I am offering for sale the engine, the transmission, a new spare tire (Michelin - never on the ground) and the four aluminum wheels (today priced at $514.00 per wheel new at the dealer) and towing package. I am GIVING YOU THE CAR with a clear title. Again, I repeat: I DO NOT CONSIDER THE CAR DRIVABLE. If you want to try to repair it, that is your decision. It will need to be towed from my house.
