Up for sale is my 2005 Porsche Carrera (997) that I purchased from the original owner and in the best color combo in my opinion (Guards Red with black interior). Complete documented service history since new – ALL MAJOR SERVICES HAVE RECENTLY BEEN COMPLETED (new plugs, tiptronic transmission flush and filter change, brake fluid flush, brake pads (front/rear), alignment and oil change – over $2,000 spent on recent servicing). This car will not need a major/minor service for a very long time/mileage – I did all the servicing to ensure the parameters of the warranty would be met in the event of a claim. Since trailering the 997 from Florida to its home in Tennessee, it has only been driven less than 5000 miles – this 27,500 mile example is super nice to say the least. I had the car originally inspected/serviced by Porsche of Nashville and purchased a bumper to bumper warranty through my local Porsche dealership (warranty is good at any Porsche dealership or any non-Porsche shop that qualifies). This is one of the best aftermarket warranty on the market and it’s not just powertrain, but nearly everything mechanical/electrical from bumper to bumper. I paid $5,600 for this warranty which is fully transferrable and expires in October of 2017, or 73,646 miles. If you’re looking to purchase one of these cars, see if the other seller can offer you that. Exterior: Paint is very glossy and looks fabulous. I’m super picky and have spent countless hours buffing and waxing on this 997 during my ownership. There are a few rock chips on the front end and a few small scratches – one has to look VERY hard to find any defects which in no way detract from the overall wonderful condition of the exterior. No dings or dents – the tech at Porsche of Nashville said this was one of the cleanest 2005 Carrera he had seen in a while. Eurofix of Nashville made similar statements. Again, this was not a daily driver which shows. I would rate the exterior a solid 8.5 out of 10 with 10 being showroom perfect. I installed a full carbon fiber side skirt and partial tail – over $1000 spent. H&R springs were installed front and rear to fill the fender gap from stock and give the car a more aggressive stance without sacrificing ride quality (call your local Porsche dealership and ask how much this costs!). Interior: The interior is near perfect. The carpet, headliner and panels all look outstanding. I had the center console wrapped in carbon fiber – looks absolutely incredible especially when compared to stock. I would rate the interior a solid 9 out of 10 with 10 being showroom perfect. I spent over $2,000 on interior upgrades which really set this vehicle apart for the others. Mechanical: Absolutely perfect – no issues whatsoever, but you don’t have to gamble as the vehicle comes with a transferrable warranty. No check engine lights - runs and drives like a Porsche should. Rear tires will need replacing in the not too distant future. No mechanical issues to report or concerns. Fully serviced and ready to go. I would rate the mechanical condition of the vehicle a 10 out of 10 with 10 being 100% flawless. Remember full warranty until almost 2018!! I really intended on keeping this vehicle for many, many years as my upgrading, warranty and vehicle service indicates. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal on the market. The only reason I’m selling is to clear room for another project (a 1966 Chevy II with LS1 swap), otherwise I would continue to enjoy for many years to come. My price is FIRM and priced below market when comparing a like, kind and quality vehicle. I have WAY more than my asking price in this vehicle. Again, the vehicle will be sold to the buyer with a clean Tennessee title in hand; however, it will take approximately a week for State Farm to mail me the title - afterwhich I will complete the sale with the buyer.
