I HAD 2 MAJOR SPOTS OF RUST REPAIRED / PLATE WELDED ON LEFT FRAME RAIL NEAR GAS TANK & LEFT REAR FRAME WHERE IT ARCHES ABOVE REAR END . I took the truck to my inspection garage & they discovered the right front lower control arm is nearly RUSTED THRU & there are 4 other areas on rear portion of frame rails / the 4 areas are on the lower lip of rails & consist of pin holes in areas of 6 -8"in length . THE DRIVETRAIN is PERFECT , Truck starts, runs, drive's Great ( I drove truck approx. 40 miles up until my inspection garage showed me the rusted thru right front lower control arm / then I had it towed back to my place), the inspection garage is less than 5 miles & I did not feel safe driving with the rusted control arm / hit a bump or pothole and severe problems could arise . **** AGAIN : VEHICLE UN - SAFE TO DRIVE & WILL NOT BE DRIVEN OFF MY LOT / MUST BE TOWED / TRAILERED FROM MY BUSINESS . **** TRUCK HAS ONLY 81,917 ACTUAL MILES / this is a 1 owner vehicle 3.0 L.
