1977 Monte Carlo. Original 350-V8, 4 bbl. 117,500 miles. AC is ice cold, cruise control still works. Aftermarket CD player. Interior is in good original condition. Shows wear appropriate for its age, no serious issues. Car has been well taken care of. It was repainted at some point, and the landau top was replaced (it now covers the whole roof, instead of just the back half, which I think looks better anyway). The dash has a cap over it (original is probably cracked underneath) and I put a felt cover over the cap because of sun glare (it's easily removed). Brand new GM rally wheels and BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with less than 1,000 miles on them. Brakes were redone in June. Transmission shifts smooth and firm, no slipping. Engine is nice and strong, starts right up, even in the cold (you need to pump the gas a few times when starting cold). No smoke or drips whatsoever. Original single exhaust (I was going to put duals on it but never got around to it). Comes with the original hubcaps and owners manual. Exterior is in good shape, although there are some imperfections. Front driver-side fender is scraped with a slight dent (looks like the previous owner wasn't looking when backing out of the garage). Floors and trunk are rock solid with no rust. The only rust is in the door jambs, ahead of the rear fenders. There is also some slight bubbling at the bottom of the landau top. The clock and the rear defroster are the only things that don't work. Great car, not desperate to sell it, but I recently moved and don't have a garage anymore. Hate to just keep it under a tarp.
