Last bidder wins! Here is your chance to get a great used workhorse at a great deal!! Engine runs good, transmission shifts smooth and the brakes stop well. As mentioned above the truck has a few minor mechanical needs. There is some oil getting into the coolant and we believe it needs a head gasket. It still runs and drives as is but will need attention. We purchased this truck as a one owner with 175k on it. We used it to haul a 2 car wedge trailer hauling small cars. The truck is still a beautiful truck and well worth repairing but it is not something we want to take on. Our one ton fleet is pretty much all Fords so this truck is kind of a mongrel in our fleet. We are going to pass this one along and get another Ford. The body is nice and clean with only a few very minor cosmetic flaws. There is some faded paint in the area of the fuel fill door. There is a small dent (about 2”) on the hood. The rear bumper has a small dent in it. The front bumper has a small dent on it. There is some clear coat missing on the doors from where we removed our company decals. The truck was a working truck as has misc scratches, nicks dings etc. The truck shows really nice! The interior is in amazing condition and would never lead you to believe it was a 14 year old truck with 227k on it. There is a small tear on the driver’s seat that was repaired. This is a great truck for someone looking to haul around a trailer. Get yourself a 3 car wedge trailer and start making some money!! Due to rising fuel costs, wear and tear on my personal vehicle and the time involved I am forced to now charge $50 for airport pickups or $100 for train/bus station pickups from South Station. We are about a $25 cab ride from the airport and we are located within 3 miles of two major MBTA stops. You can take the blue line from the airport to Wonderland Station or the purple line from south station to Lynn Station. I will pick up from these locations at no charge. Please remember that your bid is a contract to purchase, you are not bidding for the opportunity to come see the vehicle and kick the tires. Vehicle must be paid for within 7 days of auction end and must be picked up within 14 days of auction end. Due to the agreement with our landlord vehicles left over a 14 day period may be subject to a storage charge of $35 per day starting on the 15th day. If this storage charge will apply to you, you will be given notice prior to storage charges beginning to accrue. I’m usually pretty lenient with this rule, however there are certain instances when it must be must be enforced (i.e. vehicle still here 2 months after you won). I understand sometimes shipping companies give people the runaround and I’m not looking to hurt anyone. If you are actively working to get your vehicle shipped, you will most likely not be charged. All buyers MUST make a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction end via Paypal. This is now a requirement on all my vehicle auctions due to the increased amount of NON-PAYING bidders. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement due to prior bad experiences. If we do not have a deposit or contact from the buyer within 24 hours, we reserve the right to sell the vehicle to a back up buyer. Remaining payment must be cash (in person), wire transfer or cashier’s check. We do not accept Paypal for payment in full due to the high fees. The vehicle is being stored at a trucking facility and we can be very flexible with helping a shipper load the vehicle or arranging a pick up time. If you are having your vehicle shipped and picked up by a transporter they can pick it up 7 days a week as long as I have 24 hours notice. I usually need a days notice so I can make your vehicle accessible and make sure I can have someone meet the driver if I am unable to. I reserve the right to refuse your transporter if they don’t give me sufficient notice. This is usually not a problem but lately I’ve been having shippers either give me an hours notice or just plain showing up unannounced. If your shipper does not have the required equipment to load his own truck (example: shows up with an enclosed box trailer and no ramps) and requires the assistance of my storage facility to load, the vehicle may be subject to loading charges (typically $75). This charge should be assumed by the unprepared trucker however if he refuses to pay we reserve the right to either turn him away or call you to approve payment of the additional charge. We will not charge our customers any additional charges without prior notice and consent. Due to weight and hazmat requirements, most shippers require vehicles to have less than 1/8th of a tank of fuel in them prior to shipping. Vehicles may be low on fuel at pickup or upon arrival when shipped. I can provide shipping quotes within New England only.
