The car's VIN is not recognized as the vehicle was never intended to be sold in the US market. Selling for a friend a very rare 1999 Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear Turbo-Diesel with a low 113k miles. Hard to imagine a "mans" mini-van but this is definitely it. This truck has origins in Japan and therefore is right hand drive (RHD) and ideal for those in the Postal Service looking for a mail delivery vehicle. The sale of the vehicle will include a US title that should transfer to any state except CA. It is not likely this vehicle will qualify for California's strict emission standards as it is a post 1997 diesel. No import paperwork comes with the vehicle as it was purchased by present owner already in the US. This truck is mechanically in perfect condition. Automatic transmission pulls away and shifts on steep hills just fine. Engine does not leak fluids or smoke. I would not hesitate to drive the car cross country on a moments notice. Absolutely nothing needs to be done, with the exception of possibly replacing the radio. The FM band is not set for North America. Cosmetically, the truck looks to be in excellent condition and the pics do a wonderful job of displaying this. While no car is completely rust free, this one is as good as it gets having spent most of its life in Japan with a mild winter climate. Later in the auction I will try to get the truck up on a hoist and get some undercarriage pics. I'm a collector of rare, exotic, and unique cars and have sold many on eBay but to clarify, I'm not a dealer. This particular truck is in a private collection of Japanese diesels that I myself do not own but only helping seller to sell. I can provide free airport transportation, but please make arrangements well in advance. I do travel quite a bit and want to ensure I can be there. Delivery is available but contact me first before bidding to get an estimate. If you do wish for me to deliver the vehicle, the winning bidder will need to take out the insurance policy on the truck prior to delivery. I can overnight the title in advance of delivery if need be. Regarding recent negative feedback left on my account. This involved a prior sale of a car. I always prefer to sell the car and have the buyer pick up the car. However in this case I agreed to deliver it to the buyer in Denver. It was during this trip I was involved in a serious accident. I filed a claim with my insurance company and as of today, my insurance company has not reimbursed the buyer of the car. It is not going at the speed with which the buyer would like. Therefore, as mentioned below, on any future car I sell requiring delivery, I'll need the "buyer" to set up insurance with his/her own insurance company before making the trip. This will eliminate any problems that may develop in the future. I'm a safe driver, but accidents do occur. Any questions, please call me.
