The VIN is displayed on the builder's plate below: Selling a very rare in the USA 1997 Alfa Romeo Spider with about 44,000 miles. I will be departing Seattle for Ohio this week so my point of origin is Seattle but the destination by the end of auction will be metro-Columbus, Ohio. This Spider is simply one of the most beautiful cars you can buy. This is the kind of car that after you park and walk away, you just can't help take that extra glance. Cosmetically the car is nearly perfect. Leather has some very very light cracking but better then what you would expect for a 17 year old car. Mechanically the car works perfectly. Everything works. Buyer will receive a clear Ohio title without any restrictions. Finally, this trip is expected to place another 2500 miles on the odometer. I'm a collector of rare, exotic, and unique cars and have sold many on eBay. I will show the car and allow test drives but please contact me first for my travel schedule. Can provide free airport transportation from either CMH or DAY. Delivery is available but contact me first before bidding to get an estimate. Regarding recent negative feedback left on my account. This involved a prior sale of a car. I always prefer to sell the car and have the buyer pick up the car. However in this case I agreed to deliver it to the buyer in Denver. It was during this trip I was involved in a serious accident. I filed a claim with my insurance company and as of today, my insurance company has not reimbursed the buyer of the car. It is not going at the speed with which the buyer would like. Therefore, as mentioned below, on any future car I sell requiring delivery, I'll need the "buyer" to set up insurance with his/her own insurance company before making the trip. This will eliminate any problems that may develop in the future. I'm a safe driver, but accidents do occur. Any questions, please call me. A $2,000 deposit is due within 48 hours of close of auction. Car must be paid in full within 7 days. Accepted forms of payment are cash (in person of course) and wire transfer only. I do not accept paypal (although you do need an account to bid on the car).
