Do your research!!!!!Sub 10K running 911. Clear Title! Great 911 to get started in or for the kids. I purchased this car sight unseen from a dealer in NY. It was a repo car from California. 187K miles and was beat up from the past owner. Probably knew they could not make the payments so beat the hell out of it. When I received it, there was no compression in cylinder 1, front suspension was jacked. Overheating problem, seat missing, no electrical worked, you get the picture. I purchased cheap and thought I would learn how to work on a water cooled 911 and possibly give it to my Dad, let the wife drive it to the store, etc. I repaired the engine which turned out to be a broken valve spring, new head, New head gasket, water pump etc. (see Photo’s) I repaired all the electrical, new seat, new front suspension, new wheels. Actually the car turned out pretty good. Have had it running and road legal for about 6 months. No one wants it; my wife has a M5 that she loves. My Dad wants a Saab convertible, I have a 993 so time to sell. Its just sitting in storage which is getting expensive. Please understand what you’re purchasing here. This is not a show piece. It’s a car to get your hands dirty, have fun and enjoy driving without worrying about a ding door at the shopping center. No PPI’s, it will never pass. Car has a cheap paint job, has scratches and nicks everywhere. Engine is great, transmission shifts great, brakes are great. Fun car around town. I installed a new/used gauge cluster so the miles do not match the title. Cluster shows 86K ABS light is on, Durametric will not connect to the module so I think that is it. I have purchase a used ABS module and will include in sale. Speedometer does not work, again think it’s the ABS problem. Passenger window does not work, have new window arms, will include in sale. Needs front end alignment, tie rods were bent, I replaced them but didn't get it done. Engine is showing a timing Bank 1 Adjustment (check engine Light) Timing must be a little off. Engine runs great, might be the timing solenoid or I have the timing a few degree’s off. Computer is setting the timing right as the car idles and runs great, will need to be addressed at some point if you have emissions check like us in northern Ohio. I drove the car for about 2 months off and on last summer. I would trailer it if your more then 25 miles away. I had a lot of questions last listing if it could be driven to Texas, Maine, etc. CAR NEEDS WORK!!!!! If you decided to drive it away from our deal, that is up to you. Car is sold as/is with no warranty. Assorted little things that are just cosmetic. Be realistic in your expectations. Email with questions. Remember this is a Beater 911. I will not respond to emails about, didn’t do that right, and didn’t do this right. Etc. Shipping is on the purchaser, I can help meet the shipping company and get the car on its way.
