1986 GMC 2500 SIERRA 4 WHEEL DRIVE 3/4 TON LONG BED This is a project, needs a LOT of work. My dad bought this truck new in 86 and now everything is worn out except for the engine and trans which was rebuilt at about 170K miles so the odometer has been around. Runs rough, the carb is original and has never been rebuilt, also dried out cracked vacuum lines. Smog pump is worn out and locked up. A/C and heater core leaks. Cracked flex plate, front rotors groved, brake booster worn out, trans line leak, window regulators very hard to roll up and down, cracked front windshield, gas guage sticks, exhaust leak on passenger side and I can't tell if it's just the gasket or possibly a cracked exhaust manifold. Inside is fair condition but dash pad is dried out. Original paint with a good share of dings and scratches. Original grille and headlight basels got broken years ago, I have a chrome grille for it (in the pictures) but have not bolted it on. I currently have the drive line tied up for easy towing, and it has front brackets for a tow bar. Chrome wheels with good fat A/T tires. I put it in non-op status when I quit driving it so there are no back fees at DMV. I strongly recommend you come and check it out before obligating so there are no misunderstandings. Your not going to turn the key and drive it home like this. Far from perfect, far from junk. At this point you could do anything to it: restore it for street or turn it into an off road monster mudder.
