1968 F-100 RANGER LONG BED PICKUP 360 V-8 2 BL CARB C-6 TRANS 9 INCH POSI REAR FACTORY AIR ALL THERE NO BELT SO DONT KNOW IF IT WOULD WORK NOT STUCK POWER STERRING PRETTY MUCH ALL ORIGINAL RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD HAS RUST AND SOME BODY DAMAGE ON RT SIDE TIRES ARE GOOD GREAT RAT ROD PROJECT OR RESTORE OR JUST DRIVE AS IS ALSO HAS DUAL TANKS I HAVE A VERY FAIR AND LOW RESERVE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME BECAUSE IT IS FOR SALE LOCALLY HAPPY BIDDING !!On Jan-08-15 at 18:13:41 PST, seller added the following information: Runs and drives, I drove it around this summer a bit, but please keep in mind that it is a 46 year old truck with many years and miles and road grime on it and will need tlc. I drove it 90 miles in 1 day several months ago with no problems. This is the original paint, driveline (including engine, transmission, and rear axle), body, interior, and glass. The engine starts and runs ok, has had the timing chain, water pump, alternator, exhaust and ignition parts replaced. The original exhaust manifolds were cracked and replaced with a quality set of headers and mufflers. The picture of the ignition keys/keyring also shows the engine tag that was unbolted from the intake manifold. It shows the year, engine size, and various other factory codes and is original to this truck. The metal driver's door tag with all the factory info is also present on the drivers side door, shown in 1 picture so you can look up all the codes. The cooling system is good and it does not overheat, the heater works, the power steering works fine, the transmission shifts properly( it is only a 3-speed automatic), charging system is good and has a newer battery and alternator, the 2-barrel carburetor is ok and original according to the factory tag that is still present(see picture) and the fuel pump is newer. The factory manual hand choke is present and works properly. The brakes are factory manual drum(not power assisted) and are ok but it will need a new line to the rear axle (leaky) and eventually new brakes. The starter works ok but no idea if it is original or not. The driveshaft and rear axle are good. The previous owner had also stripped and painted some parts as seen by the red items shown in the pictures including the air cleaner, 1 valve cover, lower steering column trim piece, horn, and ashtray. They were going to make the whole truck red(?) but that was all that they completed. It was equipped with dealer-installed A/C with the old style/York compressor. The belt was removed due to the idler pulley bearing being worn, but I can not confirm the condition of the rest of the system. A/C does not currently work. It also had aftermarket cruise control at one time, but is not functional. A dual gas tank was also installed, but I have never used it. Has a locking gas cap with key. All lights, turn signals, brake and headlights, speedometer(as seen in 1 picture, I went for a drive around the block), windshield wipers, heater and fan, keyswitch, radio, flashers etc all work. The original steering wheel has been replaced with an aftermarket wheel and the horn will need to be hooked up. The seat is original and will need recovering as the drivers side(original upholstery) is torn. The springs and seat frame are in good shape. The steering column trim piece is in the truck but is removed and not seen in the pics. All windows roll up and down ok, all glass is good including windshield, and the vent windows open and close ok, Door handles/latches and locks all work ok, glovebox door and latch good and glovebox liner is good, tailgate including hinges and latches good and solid - the tailgate works properly. The doors open and close properly, as old Ford trucks do. Solid hinges. The hood also opens and closes smoothly. The truck has the usual rust spots, including the bottom of the fenders, outer front floorboards/rockers, etc. Please see and zoom on pictures. Inner front fenders at hood hinges and radiator core support starting. The hood is solid and fits/closes nicely. (the "R" in FORD is missing from the hood though.) The frame is solid, in very good condition. Again PLEASE keep in mind it is an old truck, and price reflects condition. If it were absolutely rust free then it would be priced much, much higher. The floors are rusted at the outer edges only and the cab mounts are starting. The center of the floor and under the seat area are ok. The rest of the floor, firewall, roof and a & b pillars, etc are fine. Carpet was removed and discarded as were the armrests. Bottom rear only of both doors rusted but repairable. Wheel openings on bedsides too. As seen in the pictures it was hit lightly on the passenger side, but it is of course repairable and the door works fine. Most of the stainless trim is present and in good condition. Overall it is still in above average condition. The inside if the box is very clean and in good condition, as is the tailgate. It must have had a cap/topper on it most of its life. Original mirrors, wheels and hubcaps, trim, emblems, spare tire carrier, antenna, cargo light, gauges, jack, etc.
