You are bidding on a 1993 Jaguar XJS 4 liter convertible. As mentioned above, the car has newer brakes, wheel bearings, factory car covers and a newer high quality paint job zero rust no where. This is a southern\western car and to my knowledge has never seen snow or salt. This was an abandoned vehicle and posses a salvage title because of that reason. To my knowledge it has the original drive train. Please fell free to run a car fax. I am selling the car because I currently own 5 vehicles and rarely use it. Last year I had the A/C reworked to the cost of $900.00. The top is in excellent shape and works well. I live in Michigan and winter in Florida. I drove this car from Michigan to Florida with no problems. Car is very dependable. The interior is in very good condition. It could use new carpet matts and the wood grain has some cracks in the clear wood grain on the dash front. Chrome on bumpers is a bit cloudy in some spots too but very presentable. Seats have new covers and are electric with lumbar bags which work very well. Also this car comes with only 1 key and no key fob. There are a few issues. The valve guides may be showing signs of wear. I started the car after 3 months of sitting in the garage and smoked out the exhaust for a few minutes. After it warmed up the smoking was gone and continues to run perfect. Recently while traveling on the freeway there seemed to be a little vibration at around 74 mph but stopped once I increased the speed. Also, the steering wheel has a small tilt to the right, most likely in need of an front end alignment. Also, the lens for 1 of the fog lights is missing. It should be mentioned that when the car was re painted, it was taken down to bare metal and there wasn't a spot of rust anywhere. When I brought the car to Florida, I had all fluids replaced including transmission. The fluids were dirty which is to be expected. The car runs very cool and has never overheated or left me stranded. This car was driven from Michigan to Florida with no problems. One other thing to mention is it has Perille tires and handles beautifully. It handles like a Jaguar should and is a blast to drive. I believe this car sold for $57,000.00 brand new and it shows.
