Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a my very, very nice 1973 MGB with the very rare and highly sought after over-drive transmission. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Mechanicals: The car runs and drives like a dream! The car was recently serviced which included a tune up, oil change, oil filter, air filters, and all fluids topped off. Also, last week the car had 4 new high quality radial tires installed. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke. The car holds very good oil pressure and the engine was rebuilt about 10k miles ago. The brakes and clutch peddles are strong and firm. The engine is "drum tight " with no signs of any fluid drips anywhere under the car at this time. The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises what so ever from the transmission or the rear end. Over-Drive: Yes this car does have the very rare over-drive transmission and it works flawlessly in both 3rd and 4th gears. Electrical's: This area is in unbelievable condition with no signs of the dreaded Lucas electrical Gremlin on this car. The following items are in proper working order: headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, horn works, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, dash gauge lights work, all dash indicator / warning lights work, courtesy light works, blower fan works, cigarette lighter works and the radio works. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand and are in working order at this time. Interior: Is in nice condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Note: The carpet was repalced about a year ago. Exterior: The car looks absolutely fabulous ! The car sits nicely on the ground with no leaning, sagging or any signs of the dreaded MGB "Leaning" issues. Look at how well the body, hood, trunk and doors fit. As seen all body panels, hood, trunk, wheel arches, dog legs and doors are laser straight. All glass is original Triplex glass in very nice condition. The tires are brand new and I just installed NEW chrome wheel trim rings. Note: The paint is extremely nice! The car was repainted last year in its original White and has been well taken care of since then. The re spay was done to a very, very high standard and I can promise you that there is absolutely, positively no over spray on any of the trim pieces, chrome, seals or body gaskets on the car. Also, at the time of the re spray the a new front bumper and a new front grill where installed. Soft Top: The soft top is in very good condition as seen in the photos. Tops / Covers: The car does come with a Tonneau cover and a car cover as well. Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car has a spare tire and wheel, original jack, original lug wrench and the original wheel trim ring removal tool. Underbody: This area looks unbelievably original ( as nice as the exterior ) with no signs of accidents, rust or rust repairs that I can find any place on the car. Shipping: If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at: http://www.ableautotransport.com/ Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or extra photos let me know prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. No warranties / guarantees are expressed or implied. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end time.
