Vehicle Detail

Asking price is NEGOTIABLE, Make an Offer - ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED 2004 Chevy Blazer 4WD, 4dr, 4.3L V6 for repair or parts. Power windows & door locks, Factory CD player, AC, tilt wheel, rear wiper, ABS. A title search came up clean and showed us as the 3rd owners since 97,665 miles. Engine runs good but to be drivable it will need a transmission (4L60E) and an exhaust y-pipe that includes both catalytic converters ($250 on rock auto). The engine light is on and the last time I checked it (awhile ago), it was a rear O2 sensor heater code. I have a new AC Delco rear O2 sensor for it. The MAF sensor is about 2 years old. The drivers side door pins and bushings have been replaced, but the door striker will need work soon. The AC compressor, filter/drier and orifice tube were replaced over the summer but the evaporator core started leaking after the repair. Both front wheel bearing assemblies have been replaced around 140k and the fuel pump was replaced around 120k. The alternator and battery were replaced last year. The front tires were replaced last year and are in good shape. The rear tires are getting close to needing replacement. The body has some rust on it but overall is not in bad shape, no rust holes. PA safety inspection is good until 8/15 but it has no emissions inspection because it has been registered in Northwestern, Pa since we've had it. The engine light will have to be fixed to pass an emissions test. KBB values it at $3200 in "fair" condition. The transmission currently does not have reverse or low 1. It will move and drive in all other forward gears but it slips. The problem could possibly be in the shifter or the shift cable but I haven't looked at it to confirm a diagnosis. The transmission died at a bad time and we just bought another vehicle to replace it. MUST SELL! I have 3 other extra vehicles in need of repairs, this one is the newest of the 3 and is just "one-too-many" to keep around. I have extra parts that will go with it if sold for the right price. - Receiver (no hitch or balls) - 2 extra wheels w/tires - 1 core transmission The extra wheels and tires - the wheels are the older style, 5-spoke Blazer wheels and do not match what is on the truck now. The tires on the extra wheels are pretty much worn out, not much, if any, life left. I bought them to have 2 extra wheels for it. The Core Transmission is out of and will fit this model Blazer (1998 to 2004, I think). No torque converter. I was told that the core transmission lost 3rd gear when I got it. Maybe you could make one good one out of the two. I don't do automatic transmission rebuilds, so I don't know.
