This is a no reserve auction for my 2002 Chevy Impala. I am relisting because last buyer did not pay. If you do not have more than 10 feedbacks, please do not bid before contacting me! I will say this for the car up front. It isn't running at the moment (see details below). I have owned since it had 4,000 miles on it. It has never been smoked in. The car has all available options except sunroof. The water damage has never been an issue with any of the electronics on the car. The only electronic item that does not work is the cruise control. The light comes on but it doesn't maintain speed. The car is in overall decent shape with mostly normal wear and tear on the outside. The interior has normal wear and tear on the front seats, the back passenger side has some minor scraping and needs a thorough cleaning. The drivers side and passenger rear door panels are pretty banged up as they were damaged from getting my wheelchair in and out. The exterior has normal chips and scrapes (with the exception of the drivers side rear door and rocker panel with several scrapes and dents from getting my wheelchair in and out) with a few hail damage dents on the hood and the top of the car, but they are very minor and very few. I think there might be three or four small dents, but that is it. It has lots of new parts on it including speedometer sensor, oil sending unit sensor, crank position sensor, new brakes and rotors (about 5,000 miles or so ago), new front wheel bearings on both sides (about 3,000 miles ago), and a few others I cannot think of at this time. The car was involved in a minor accident in 2003, but the damage was only cosmetic. When it was repaired, we used genuine GM parts including, hood, fender, headlight and front bumper. No structural damage was incurred in this accident. I drove it for a month damaged and it drove fine. Also, the tires on the car are dry rotted. I do have a very good set of tires available if the winning bidder wants them for an additional $100. They are Michelin Infinity and have about 40 to 50,000 miles left on them. Here is the down side. The transmission went out about four years ago and the car sat until I replaced the transmission with a used transmission a little over two years ago. The car ran fine, shifted good, and made it home just fine. I went to start it later, and it only clicked. It might be the starter, battery, or some other minor issue, but I am not a mechanic so I do not know for sure, but I do believe it to be minor, not major. If you need this car shipped, I will assist in it getting where it needs to go, but I would recommend you come pick up yourself as I am not sure I can get the car moved to a location where a tractor trailer could pick it up with ease. Like I said in the description, it might be the starter, battery, or other minor issue, but I am not a mechanic so I cannot say for sure. The only thing I know positively is that the car ran fine right after I had the transmission put in and shortly after getting home with it, it would not turn over when I tried to start it, it only clicked like the starter was locked up.
