Vehicle Detail
1954 Chevy Sedan Delivery NUMBERS MATCHING FRESH SPARE NEW ENGINE IS INCLUDED! It is the 235 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column original drive train car. It is still the 6 volt system. It has that "six in heat" sound that will bring a tear to the old timers eyes. It is not a show car but does well at the local shows. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. Fly to Denver and drive it home (spare parts would be a problem though). OUTSIDE: PPG basecoat/clearcoat matching International Harvester red. I have the receipt but the paint code is smudged. PPG said no problem matching the paint. The body has a few scratches, etc. from normal driving to car shows. It is very straight. The bumpers, grille, headlight doors, radiator cross bar, tail light bezels and hood bird have all been rechromed and are excellent. The vent window covers and hood bull strip have been chromed. The factory rubber gravel guards have been replaced with the stainless version. All doors open and close as they should and all glass is good all lights are good and work as they should. ENGINE: It has the original engine that is been bored .080" and runs great. No problem pulling Vail Pass, etc. A ton of money was spent at the chrome shop (Quality Plating in Yuma, Colorado). That includes: valve cover, side cover, timing cover, oil cap, motor mount braces. ngine and frame side), dipstick & tube, generator adjusting bracket and cover, starter strap, air cleaner bottom, oil filter & clamps, coil bracket etc. DRIVETRAIN: It is the factory 3 speed on the column transmission. The enclosed driveshaft rear end has been changed to a Powerglide unit for highway cruisin' (3.55-1). The wheels are Cragar SS (with optional spinners) on P235R70-15 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's. The Fenton Headers are hooked to 2" aluminized pipe going into Smithy mufflers using urethane bustings. SPARE PARTS: A fresh 235 Engine (no sheet metal) (also bored .080") is included (cost $1,900.00). RB Generator, Water Pump, Fan Belt, New Voltage Regulator, Ignition Coil, Distributor Cap & Rotor, Points & Condenser, Fuel Pump. The battery is new. Has air shocks on the rear. I also will include 2 good Powerglide rear ends. Car cover is included. Mileage is 44,834 and is correct to the body engine is full rebuild on numbers matching motor. My cell is 720-882-4215 I can show the car anytime with a little notice. Thanks and happy bidding I reserve the right to end auction at any time as it is for sale here in Colorado.
