Check Out this 1998 BMW 740iL Sedan! I have known this ride since it was brand new. A short History: It was purchase new at our local BMW dealership in 1998 by a very good family friend, It was always maintained and serviced by the BMW dealership for every required service, oil change and regular maintenance up to the 60000 mile service. NOTHING never missed!! That is why my family purchased after that. We knew how GREAT the car had been taken care of during its early life. From that point I have maintained the car for my family through my dealership. It has always been maintained to top standards since then. Whatever the car needed was done. Never cut corners!! 60K, 90k, 120k services all done! Anything that need attention was taken care of immediately. It has been one wonderful and dependable automobile for our family!! The damage: Simply put, my mother rear ended me in a Chevrolet Suburban at about only 1 to 2 miles hr. We were just pulling away from stop and the bumped me in the rear. Not much damage, would not been this bad but it hit the Tow Pkg on the suburban. Didn't even have to repair the Suburban. This was my mother first accident since she started driving and now fears the car(no reason too). So time to sell. Now with the car its self. This is a 1998 edition BMW 740il with all options one could come with in that year model except navigation. This has had all it majors services always preformed by the BMW dealership or qualified facility. It came equipped with Premium Sound, Factory Phone, Winter Pkg.w Heated steering wheel, seats, mirrors and headlight washers, $1500.00 front comfort seats, 6 disc CD Changer, Upper graded rims. The car is Champagne over Tan Leather interior. The paint is in good shape for it age with exception of the front damage and crack on rear bumper. I will be easy to match if you decide to repair it. The interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears. The dash has no cracks and wood trim is good shape too. All factory options work as they should inside(comfort seats, stereo, sunroof, heated seats, heated steering wheel, sunshades, etc.). The dash does have some pickles out do to age. Tires are close to new and all rims are in good shape. The car Still has it factory tool kit and spare with matching rim. The car does run strong and drives great. However will not run at this point until repairs are on done and the cracked air box is repaired. The cracked air box is letting to much air in. Repair it and the cars will run well. All major services have been done and even transmission serviced. Until this small accident this car had never been wrecked or damaged. Its has been a GREAT car for our family. The mileage on the car is around 140000ish the last time i looked. however due to its age I'm selling it as tmu. The transmission shifts out smooth and strong. Really this car will make someone a great ride with minor repairs(engine hood, headlight, radiator support and air box). Or you can part it out for a lot of money(Engine $1000.00 to $1500.00, Transmission $1500.00, Interior parts $$$ and on and on) I have looked them up. I just dont have time to part out. Moving my business to new location . However it would be a shame to destroy a really good well maintained ride. I cant think of anything else that needs to be said. Its a very good car that my mother is afraid of now. So i got her a Jaguar. Any inspections are welcomed.
