I hope the following will help in understanding when reading CarFax report. This car was purchased in the Tampa Bay Area from the dealership brand new. The car was used as my commuter vehicle to and from my corporate office when I was in town. Due to the nature of my job, 75% of my time was dedicated to traveling throughout the country by air. My job required us to move over the years and the car came with me. The car has been housed with us Tampa/St. Petersburg FL, Germantown, TN, Greenville, SC and finally Dallas, TX respectively. During our years in Greenville, my employer out right purchased the car from me and I continued to drive it as part of my employee compensation. Upon changing employers, the car was then titled back to me as part of my separation package. I have always remained the driver/owner of the vehicle, but wanted to give the title transfer detail to you. The vehicle was involved in one accident in upstate New York during a summer visit to see relatives. My was wife was on a secondary road and a vehicle was backing out of their drive way. My wife came to a complete stop but the vehicle kept proceeding out onto the roadway. The driver never saw or heard my wife's horn blowing and backed into the front side passenger headlight area of the car. The car was repaired in Queensbury, NY and then driven back home to Greenville, SC. Radio volume knob does not work all the time. I use the volume control switch on the steering wheel instead. There has been a burning order when you first turn the heat on for the past 4+ years. I have had multiple dealer service managers and independent shops look at the car over the years and no one could ever find the reason for this. The smell dissipates after several minutes. The interior is in good condition. My wife used the car to drive from SC to NY to visit mom and the kids sat in the back seat during these trips. The result was soiled seat belt straps because they were in child restraint car seats. There is normal wear to leather on the front bucket seats. Slight crack on passenger interior door panel approximately one inch long-see photo for details. Slight peeling of rear window tinting at top corners-see photo for details. One passenger side door small indent from someone's car door-see picture. Very few paint chips on exterior door handles-see pictures.
