I have owned this car the majority of it's life (10 years) so I know just about everything there is to know about the car. I'm selling it because I moved from San Francisco to Boston and I no longer need it. Ultimately, you're buying a car that runs and drives but needs a lot of tender love and care. I have always maintained the car well, changed the oil myself, and taken to professional german auto mechanics when work was necessary. That being said, the car definitely will need some work to bring up to par for something you will be needing as a daily driver. Car is currently located at my friends house in Oakland, CA and the title is already signed and ready to be transferred. Looking for a quick sale so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Here are the pluses New timing belt - 10k miles ago 50% left on tires Top end of engine rebuilt (was leaking oil) Working sunroof Wonderful sound system (iPod/iPhone ready) with JL Audio speakers and 4x Amplifier mounted in the trunk (tucked up and out of the way) Clear title Good body/paint condition (some defects which could be repaired) Includes a trailer hitch - I towed my small motorcycle trailer once in a while with no problems Comes with nice rubber floormats Driver leather seat has nice electric controls and is very comfortable Relatively new genuine Bosch battery - 5 year warranty Ski sack intact and in great condition Seat warmers work really well Heater works well, car heats up quickly AC Blows cold - new compressor/radiator Here are the minuses Not California registered or smog testedSingle long crack in the windshield (been there for 1.5 years and not getting any bigger) Headliner is droopy in the back seat Front leather seats are worn and the bottom is in rough condition Exhaust is a little loud, it needs to be recoupled under the car Initially the exhaust mount drooped and then the exhaust started scraping on speed bumps Cruise control has never worked in the 10 years I've owned the car The gauge cluster has a "christmas tree" of warning lights that have been on for 30,000 miles.+ ABS - When I replaced the rear wheel bearings, I broke the sensor cable BRAKE - Brake wear sensor is broken AIRBAG - Needs the code cleared by Audi Dealer, airbag is fine LCD Screen in Gauge cluster is unreadable Tiptronic is not working, Shifter moves without resistance between drive and tiptronic, but tiptronic never engages Single key, Keyless entry not working (not sure if it's the key or the batteries in the remote) Light paint mark on rear right fender (will buff out) Front bumper needs repainting Missing drivers side front lower grille - http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/111247532473?lpid=82 Missing passenger side headlight washer cover Missing gas cap Windshield wipers not working - Not sure if it's a fuse or electrical issue Center console armrest lid has a broken hingeCar downshifts slowly, abrupt braking has caused it to stall on a few occasions. I just had to shift to park, restart the car, and then shift to drive again. I have tried my very best to list everything I can possibly think of with the car and I can promise total transparency with any questions you may have.
