NO RESERVE !!! THIS WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER !!! Click This YouTube Video To View The Truck starting, and running at a higher RPM - http://youtu.be/t4IzlB72vnE Here is my 2004 Ford F-150 F150 4x4 Crew Cab Lariat with the 5.4 Triton / Tritan motor. This girl has been my baby but had issues with it recently. Below describes what issues are wrong with the truck. If I had more money and time I would keep this truck until I could diagnose the problem. But money is tight due to me remodeling my house and Christmas is right around the corner as well. My loss your gain. This has been my favorite truck to own since I got my drivers license 20+ years ago. I recently had a new used transmission installed that had 120,000 miles on it because my overdrive was starting to slip. I guess one of the transmission lines had a gash in it about 1 centimeter long which was causing water to get into the tranny and caused overdrive to fail. So I replaced all parts necessary and replaced the transmission. Within a week after I had the transmission installed my motor went out. (When it rains it pours) I purchased a used motor with 105,000 miles on it. I had 2 new timing chains, 2 new timing chain tensioners, new water pump, new intake gaskets, new timing chain tensioner housing, new plugs, radiator flush, new fluids . . . . . . . new everything installed. After installing the new motor, my airbag light came on and my abs light. Not sure why but they are now on. The first time I put it on the road after the new motor was installed it ran great for 1 mile then started spitting white smoke out the tailpipe. I stopped and I could smell antifreeze coming out the tailpipe. I drove it back to the shop and it struggled to stay running. . . . . I am no mechanic, and I got into a "discussion" with the mechanic who worked on this and he told me to get the truck off his property. Even though I paid him in full he did not want to hear anything about this. So here I am. . . . . I no longer have enough money to have it looked at or gone through again. I have since purchased a cheaper truck & am now selling this. My plan was to keep it until I could afford to take it to another shop to have them diagnose this problem but like I stated, money has become tight so I have to sell this. I am selling the truck in "AS-IS" condition. I can tell you the transmission is strong and runs great with no slips, jumps, or anything wrong with it. As for the motor. It has new timing chain tensioners, timing chains, timing chain housing, new plugs, fluids, water pump, intake gaskets (which i think may be the problem but I can't guarantee anything) This truck will have to be trailered from where it is to your location. You can try driving it, but it likes to stall whenever the RPM's get low. Specs about the truck - It's loaded. It's the Lariat Package and has almost every option available for that year of the truck. Please see picks to determine the condition of the interior and exterior of the truck. Again this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This will sell to the highest bidder. I can't have it sitting around any longer and I need the money. My Loss, Your Gain. :-) Please see YouTube Video at the top of this description to see how the motor sounds while starting and while running at a higher RPM.
