This is a 1953 Chevy 3600. 235 engine, 4 speed trans. I purchased this truck from the second owner who was very familiar with its history. This truck was repainted once in 1996, it has not had any body work done to it the only rusty spot on the truck is the drivers side floor board, it is rusted through and has a metal plate over the rust spot. The truck is all original except the engine and the rearend. The engine is a 235 out of a later 1950s chevy and it runs great, starts right up in all weather. The rear end is out of a later model 3/4 ton. Paint looks good but is not perfect, it has a few very minor dents and scratches. Interior is original, the gauges show nice and work properly. Windshield has small cracks in the corners and pass side vent window is cracked. This truck drives nicely down the road and steers good. THIS TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED UP FOR PICS AND WAS JUST PULLED OUT OF THE SHED. Great truck all around. Would not be afraid to dive it anywhere. Very solid! (magnets on doors can be easily removed).
