Here is a 1986 Porsche Targa that was traded to me as a partial trade for a car I sold someone. I will do my very best to describe overall condition. Please by all means email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer. I have set what I believe is a fair reserve for what the car needs. Please do not ask what the reserve is just bid within what you feel you can pay. I am open to offers and car is for sale locally and auction may end early. The good:Car drives wellIdles wellgoes into gear very well and goes at highway speeds with no issuesClutch feels greatHeat and air seem to work finewipers workheadlights and fog lights work greatseats move as they shouldblinkers workspare looks almost newnewer batteryunder car looks very clean and almost rust freeno dash lights come onCar starts right up Paint is in overall ok condition. Fine for someone that wants a Porsche at a great price. By no means a show car as far as paint goes. Great driver for sure5 Speed works great as well as reverseHas good power with no misfires or concerns Notable items or the bad to some:Car does show as repainted on right side. Owner did tell me that right fender was painted due to hitting a dear more then a year agoboth windows do not work in front and looks to have been rewired. The windows do work if you power them direct so the motors and regulators are goodinterior seats have rips on both bottoms and has seat covers on themrust on both lower door jams about size of credit card and does not go all the way through the body or any further upTarga Top looks like it may need new seals. driver side near lower rear window shown in pic has slight bubble of rust spotshood is slightly off center in front shown in pics. This looks like it may just be an adjustmentInterior and exterior need detailingRadio powers up and all functions seem to work but no sound comes out. Again the runs and drives very nice. Perfect for someone that wants to restore over time or just enjoy as is and have an affordable classic. The car is 30 years old so please understand that before bidding.
