Thank you for bidding on my 1991 LX Convertible. I bought this car about 3 years ago from the original owner in California. I believe the lady used this car as her primary transportation for years and she really racked up the miles I am unclear if the mileage is 109K or 209K. I have some of the service records from the local Ford dealership so she maintained it and also kept it garaged. I have also kept it garaged the entire time I have owned it. I bought this car with the intentions to restore it. I chose this car because It had a straight body, no rust, no accident history and all the stickers are still on the body panels.The smoke grey exterior and black interior is my favorite color combination. This car has never let me down and starts every time. I had to drive it to work every day for about 1 year. The paint looks good from a distance but it does have some fading, scratches and dents appropriate for its age so I would give it a 5 out of 10 currently. It could use some new body paint, trim paint and rubber molding.The Interior is pretty good and I would call it a 7 out of 10, The front windows, door locks, trunk release, heater and cruise control work great. It starts every time and I get a lot of compliments when I take it out, This car is just short of a daily driver and I think it's nicer than a beater. That is about all the good I can share about this Mustang. Remember I bought this car to restore / fix it up. It needs attention to be nice. That attention includes a tear in the drivers seat, missing drivers sun visor, reattachment of the rear view mirror, a new convertible top (and possibly a convertible top motor or loose connection as sometimes the top does work), loose map pockets on the doors, ash trey door, no radio, a/c charge (it does not blow cold), transmission rebuild eventually (slips in OD but runs great in Drive, 1,2,3 and reverse), new tires (I would not drive it across country or you will be using the spare), rear window gears (motors work but you have to move them by hand), drivers door handle is loose but works fine, oil leak from the oil pan, suspension is loose but it goes straight down the road. This is just an old car but it's still fun and it makes me smile every time I drive it, I have done my best to educate you before you bid. I have probably forgotten or left a few things out by mistake. If you need to please inspect the car before bidding. You can expect a clean, straight, no rust car that needs a lot of love to be nice again. Delivery and Pick up is your responsibility. I will assist in loading it only.
