Your are bidding on a 1959 Nash Metropolitan. I purchased this car from a neighbor that had owned it since 1982. He got it from the original owner by mowing his lawn for years. He sold it to me as he was moving out of state and was unable to take it with him. I bought the Nash with great plans to restore it back to it's original beauty. I have decided to let someone else enjoy that process as I have way too many projects on my plate at the present time. The nash is completely original. I believe paint and interior are original from manufacturer. It looks like its rusty in the pictures but that is actually primer showing thru the thin worn paint. The body is very solid and only has light surface rust. No rust through holes. I put 5 new radial tires on it and hubcaps since I bought it. The motor turns over freely and should run fine once it it serviced. I believe the prior owner said the car had sat for approximately 10 years since he last drove it. I have the original clear title from the prior owner. It is off the DMV system so registering it to the new buyer will be very simple. It comes with an extra carb and some misc. parts.
