It was purchased as a restoration project. However, I need the capital for other projects as I have to many at present. I have thousands of dollars in brand new parts from Stoddards and Restoration Designs that I will sell to the winning bidder at a substantial discount. Otherwise, I will list them on eBay after the car sells. The include the front and rear glass, muffler, heat exchangers, rear seat tray, floor pans, etc... ENGINE: The engine is complete except the heat exchangers and muffler. They were rusted beyond use and were removed. It will turn over by hand and turns smoothly. However, it has a catch while going through the 360 degrees. It will go past this point with light pressure, but it is noteworthy. I do not know if it is a stuck valve or something else. As seen from the pictures under the valve covers it appears to have been used very little after a rebuild. I did not clean the rockers and valve assemblies, just removed the covers and took the pics. The engine is marked: 83980/1600S, 901, P83980. Please, note in the images where the markings are located. This matches the car model, but not the COA and year. TRANSMISSION: The transmission is complete and installed. It shifts, however I have never driven the car. It is marked: 46705. This matches the COA. BODY The bumpers are included. Please, see images. Reutter Body number: 116976. Paint code: 702/ Ruby Red The body is a restoration candidate. Images speak more than words, so I have included extensive images of the body so that all the damage can be seen. You will need a rear seat tray, floor pans, and trunk pan as a starting point. The doors are very solid as are the window frames and top. The rockers are substantial, but need patching. The door gaps are excellent and there is no sagging. INTERIOR Original interior color per the COA is "light brown leatherette". The interior needs full restoration, however most of the hard items are present. The front seat frames have some rust but are solid and useable. The gauges are in good condition and the pillar covers are solid. SUSPENSION All of the suspension components are present, please see the images. BRAKES The brakes are complete, however will need complete overhaul. This is a 1961 Porsche 356B T5 1600 Super Reutter Coupe. It was purchased as a restoration project. However, I need the capital for other projects as I have to many at present. I have thousands of dollars in brand new parts from Stoddards and Restoration Designs that I will sell to the winning bidder at a substantial discount. Otherwise, I will list them on eBay after the car sells. The include the front and rear glass, muffler, heat exchangers, rear seat tray, floor pans, etc...

ENGINE: The engine is complete except the heat exchangers and muffler. They were rusted beyond use and were removed. It will turn over by hand and turns smoothly. However, it has a catch while going through the 360 degrees. It will go past this point with light pressure, but it is noteworthy. I do not know if it is a stuck valve or something else. As seen from the pictures under the valve covers it appears to have been used very little after a rebuild. I did not clean the rockers and valve assemblies, just removed the covers and took the pics.

The engine is marked: 83980/1600S, 901, P83980. Please, note in the images where the markings are located. This matches the car model, but not the COA and year.

TRANSMISSION: The transmission is complete and installed. It shifts, however I have never driven the car.

It is marked: 46705. This matches the COA.

BODY The bumpers are included. Please, see images.

The body is a restoration candidate. Images speak more than words, so I have included extensive images of the body so that all the damage can be seen. You will need a rear seat tray, floor pans, and trunk pan as a starting point. The doors are very solid as are the window frames and top. The rockers are substantial, but need patching. The door gaps are excellent and there is no sagging.

INTERIOR

Original interior color per the COA is "light brown leatherette". The interior needs full restoration, however most of the hard items are present. The front seat frames have some rust but are solid and useable. The gauges are in good condition and the pillar covers are solid.

SUSPENSION

All of the suspension components are present, please see the images.

BRAKES

The brakes are complete, however will need complete overhaul.
