NO RESERVE! HIGHEST BIDDER WINS THE CAR! This is a new eBay account I recently made. You can search for my old account “2Jeepsterz” and you will see I have all 100% positive feedback. First off, if you do not like attention, thumbs up’s, people stopping you to take pictures, and lots of questions, this car is not for you. If you don’t mind any of the things listed above, continue to read on. You are viewing an all original, vin and numbers matching W72 1977 “Bandit” Pontiac Trans Am T/A 400, automatic. Original black/gold exterior with black leather interior. It is 100% original down to the radio, including the original T/A 400 6.6L motor and automatic transmission, A/C and even the original Honeycomb wheels with Goodyear tires. Please, DO NOT confuse this with the weaker and less desired 6.6 liter 400. The odometer reads 96,xxx which I believe to be accurate and original to the car. This car is definitely an attention getter and will only climb in value. Being an unmolested two owner car, these are definitely getting hard to find. Along with the car, I have original dealership documents including the owners manuals and even the original dealership issued warranty brochure dated April 12, 1977. And now onto the car. Exterior: The exterior of the car is in great shape overall. The original “Starlight” black paint still shines up very well and looks like a mirror when polished up. All paint and body panels are original to the car, no past body work! The front tip of the bumper has some minor rock chips and flakes, to be expected of a 37 year old vehicle. There are no dents or dings. It has always been garaged and covered when not being driven. The bottom of the driver’s side fender has some small paint bubbles (pictured). The hood has a faded place where the paint looks to have been buffed away. The bottom side undercarriage of the car is spotless! All of the decals are original. The bird on the hood has faded and looks silverish. Some of the pin striping is peeling and cracked up close. The Honeycomb wheels are original and in great shape. The wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTII’s which have good tread, but due to the age, they do ride rough and bumpy. I would replace the tires when the new owner takes it home. The car sat for some time and the tires went flat which caused flat spots. You can feel them when driving, although I just took the car on a 200 mile trip and had no issues. Interior: The interior is 100% factory original. The radio is present but does not have power (it was disconnected and an aftermarket radio has been added below which does work). Factory tilt steering wheel. The heat works great and blows hot. This is a factory AC car and it is there but the belt is not. It did work before the belt was removed. It may need charged once a new belt is added. The carpet is very nice with no rips or tears. The passenger side of the dash has a crack about 3 inches wide (see pictures). The seats are the original black leather. I keep seat covers on the front. The driver’s side seat does have some rips (my plans were to recover it but it never happened). The passenger side is in great shape as well as the rear. All dash lights and components work as they should. Mechanical: Mechanically, the car is very sound and runs awesome. It is 100% stock with the exception of an aftermarket Flowmaster exhaust system. The motor was completely rebuilt at 71,000 miles along with the transmission and rear end by Bells Ferry Auto Service in Woodstock, GA. The car runs and drives very smooth aside from the bumpy tires. It will also need an alignment. The brakes are great and stop on a dime. It starts up and idles perfectly every time, even in 30 degree weather. Overall, this is a great example of a survivor 1977 Trans Am. I would like to see it go to a good home and to someone who will appreciate it as much as the previous owners have. There is no doubt, these cares are legendary and will continue to be highly sought after. I am offering this awesome W72 TA at a NO RESERVE, starting the bidding at $0.99. Bid to win! I have tried to be as detailed and specific as possible, but I may have forgotten a few things. With that said, feel free to ask any questions you may have. You can message me on eBay or call me on my cell at 423-650-9853. Thanks for looking and good luck! *A $500 security deposit is required 24 hours after the auction’s end. No exceptions. If you are not a serious buyer and do not intend on following through, please do not bid on my car. *I will be glad to assist the buyer with shipping arrangements if needed. Local pickup is always offered of course. If you are local and would like to come see the car, feel free to give me a call. PICTURES:
