One owner, 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe, 2.7Ltr., 5spd. manual trans, Red/Tan. 113k miles, however, motor was rebuilt at 90k.
This Porsche was purchased new in 1974 after years of dreaming to own. While others were going out to have fun, original owner stayed in and saved his money, so that one day his dream would come true. 10/09/1974 the dream became reality, what an awesome day that must have been. This car has been pampered for 40 years! Think of all that has happened over the past 40 years. Over all these years, the car has never seen rain, has always been garaged, and wiped down after every drive. Driven 2800 miles a year was enough to keep every part lubed and in great running order. Also, low enough miles, so one day someone else could appreciate as he did. Before the gentleman left us, a few last words were about the Porsche-- "I hope it goes to someone that will take care of and love as much as I have."
I love Porsche's, but, my garage is full. I will guarantee anyone that if there were room in my garage, no one would be reading this or seeing the car on Ebay. When I drove the car it was like driving a much newer model; suspension is tight, motor purrs, and she shifts smoother than any Porsche I've driven of that era. Original Guards Red paint looks like new, Original interior is flawless except for some stitching that's come un seamed in driver seat, but will be repaired. Motor on the Porsche was rebuilt at 90k, I assume that's one reason the car purrs and runs as nice as it does. Original owner manual, original purchase agreement, receipts for rebuild, and maintenance receipts, go with the Porsche. This Porsche has been thoroughly inspected and certified to include a one year power train warranty. I am that confident, will anyone else you know put a one year warranty on a 40 year old Porsche?
