Up for auction, A 1972 Ford Ranchero N code 500. Title is clear and not salvage has had a fender bender, which I have taken to frame shop for determination of repair. Frame can be pulled and straightened according to frame shop. Driver quarter will need repair along with some rust repair also. All glass good with exception of windshield. Tailgate and both doors open fine with no structural damage. Heads are DV2-AA castings, and appears to be original for 1972. Block casting was not determined because of tight location behind starter. Serial number wasn't apparent on passenger side of block either as I was told some weren't stamped. 385 series V8 however, 429/460. C6 transmission I believe. Listing this for a friend. According to him the front suspension was rebuilt some years ago, upgrading Upper A-arms with older style metal grommets/bushings rather than rubber. Car also has a GT hood. Rear end is A 8 inch which he also said he put a 3.55 spool in at one point in time. Been owned by him for 30 years. Engine was started by me and runs good. Car was not driven, however but according to him drove very well with upgraded suspension including KYB shocks. Car has been sitting for several years and needs a good restore. Again this is a 1972 N code 429 car. Buyer assumes all shipping arrangements and costs. Buyer also to pay non refundable 500 dollar deposit within 48 hours of auction end.
