Vehicle Detail

1998 Saturn SL2 with 216k miles. I bought this car with 138k 2 and a half years ago. Anything it ever needed, it got. I have a small notebook i keep in the glove compartment with the date and mileage of anything ever done since i've owned the vehicle. Here is a list of some of the things I've replaced during my ownership (2 and a half years and 78k miles on a 16 year old car : -Battery -Starter-Radiator, upper and lower hoses, thermostat, and coolant temp sensor-Exhaust from manifold back(cat, resonator, flexpipe, tailpipe and a walker SS muffler and both O2 sensors)-Entire timing chain set (guides, sprockets, tensioner.-Valve cover gasket -Pads and Rotors(2x)-Changed transmission fluid and filter 2x-Front Control arms with ball joints, outer tie rods, Rear end links-Motor and trans mounts-Has sliverstar headlight bulbs-Firestone Precision Tires, currently have about 40% tread left, have worn very well, and very even.-Genuine GM belt tensioner (aftermarket ones "rattle" like crazy at idle with A/C on) It is very decent condition i think considering its age, and mileage. It does have a fair bit of surface scratches, and the clear coat is peeling in a few places. The worst thing about this car, and its exactly the same as when i bought it, is the headliner. It has a ton of small tears all over it. I will try to get a picture of it up later. Never bothered me much, as I dont spend much time looking up at the ceiling...Its been very reliable. A/C works great, nice and cold. The worst MPG's i ever got was 29(bumper to bumper with a/c on), best was 39, average around 32 to 35 consistently. I have never had an emission or check engine light issue. It has never left me stranded anywhere. Its been a great car, Im only selling it because I got another vehicle at a deal i couldnt pass up. I was challenging myself to get this car past 300k and i think it will make it! Just now, it wont be by me. If you have any questions please ask before you bid! I do my best to respond quickly. Thank you for looking. Adam Phillips
