Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1985 Series III Jaguar Xj6 with about 95,000 miles on the odometer. -The vehicle is equipped with a 4.2l Xk straight-six cylinder 176hp engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Rear wheel drive. -It is in a Regent Grey Metallic paint that is original and in nice overall condition. The interior colour is a maroon leather that is somewhat distressed but has no tears/rips besides one on the center console. Has aftermarket Sony cd player that was installed well. Headliner is sagging somewhat. All power windows work. -The ONLY signs of rust are pictured, along the underneath of the rear window and one spot under the windshield on the passenger side. The underside is in decent condition as it was factory undercoated. Front wheel well has hole but is not visible. All chrome is in good condition, Headlights, taillights, side markers, badges, emblems, rims all in good condition. duel exhaust. I purchased this car in January 2014 and drove it from Ohio to PA(over 100 mile trip) with no issues. Replaced all coolant hoses as one clearly was leaking where it connected to the coolant expansion tank. Had car gone over and INSPECTED with a 3/15 sticker. Replaced coolant temp gauge as well. Tires, brakes, suspension declared to be in decent condition. Replaced expansion tank with a "new" one from ebay, expansion tank had pinhole....Car ran but I obviously didn't take it far. Lost interest and never replaced tank kept car running now and again until august, when key was left in ignition and door left open. So battery died, have tried jumping it but can't get it to turn over..don't know why- as this has to be the issue. Battery was replaced by dealer before I bought the car. In the end, the car will surely turn over without much difficulty. I have just moved on and need something for winter. It is a beautiful vehicle and hailed as one of the best looking sedans ever built. I would say it could even be a parts car but the body is really almost too good for that. ----Clean title, Inspected 3/15 ----Will need towed ----As is, Where is ----Will work with shipping company ----$500 initial payment through paypal within 24 hours of auction close
