Here is a chance to own one of the most beautiful cars ever manufactured, the 1954 Studebaker Champion Regal Starliner. When launched in 1953, the Starliner was considered by Motor World Magazine to have made every other American car look 10 years older. The Museum of Modern Art labeled this vehicle a “Work of Art” for its design. The Fashion Academy, part of the New York school of Fashion Design awarded the 1953 a gold medal for style and design. Ads of the period touted it as “The new American car with the European look” Another claim this car has is that it was a star of the Mobilgas Economy Run. This was in an era when gas was 21 cents a gallon. In 2005, the Postal Service featured a stamp for this classic.
