You are bidding on a VGC 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 pickup with the much sought after Cummins 5.9 L HO diesel engine and a 8' 2" Western power V-plow. This truck was purchased new on 3-22-07 from Galeana's Van Dyke Dodge in Warren, MI., less than 20 miles from where it was built, and has only 75,720 miles. This is extremely low miles for a diesel! It has been in Crown Point, IN since new, and has had only one owner. It has been very well maintained, and was not used to plow commercially, just for some local residences and a parking lot at my brother in law's work location. As described above and shown in the pictures, the body has a few dings and dents, but no rust. The right side mirror is cracked, and there is a small tear in the metal (beneath the bed rug) in the right wheel well. The bed rug has been on since new, so the bed is otherwise in excellent condition. There is a piece of steel plate cut to fit the back of the bed to provide ballast for the plow. I have the original window sticker, and the standard and optional features are: Front air bags; ABS disc brakes; Manual shift on the fly transfer case; PS, Front stabilizer bar; 136 amp alternator with 2 batteries; 34 gallon tank (which I just filled); Intermittent wipers; AC; Tilt steering; Cruise control; PW; PL with remote entry; Overhead console with trip computer; AM/FM/CD; 40/20/40 split front seat; Rear folding seat with storage underneath' Power heated trailer tow mirrors; Sirrus radio compatible; 17" aluminum wheels; Tow hooks; Fog lamps; Trailer tow prep (with brake controller); Rear sliding window; Auto dim rear view mirror; 4 speed A/T; Anti-spin rear differential; 11.50 rear axle; Banks exhaust. (The Banks exhaust is the only non-stock addition to the engine/drive train.) I no longer need a plow truck as I now have a tractor to plow the driveway, and do not need such a heavy duty truck for a farm truck, so I am selling the Ram in a no reserve auction. We live about 2 miles from Exit 247 on I-65, and are about 48 miles south and a bit east of the Chicago loop. I would like payment concluded within 7 days of auction end, and will accept cash or a cashier's check with valid ID. The truck is being sold in as-is condition with no warranties. Of the 20 watchers of this listing two have called to see if I would sell just the truck. I am willing to sell just the truck, but to keep it fair for all watchers I will make the same offer to all potential bidders: Bid for the truck with the plow, and if you in fact do not want the plow, I will reduce your winning bid by $2,000. I will eat the cost of having the frame supports removed, which will not take long but will cost $150, as quoted by the company that installed the plow.
