Standard options including traction control, block heater, keyless entry, electric windows, and power locks. Optional accessories include air conditioning, premium sound system with IPOD/AUX input, leather wrapped steering wheel, panoramic glass top, tach/clock combination dials and premium passion wheels. In addition, Kevin added an OEM cruise control (never installed on Smarts here in the US until 2012). He also had the car remapped by Smart Car expert Glenn Kolano for added power. I have quite a few writeups on this remap process and can supply additional info to anyone interested. Mechanically, everything works on this car. There are no check engine lights illuminated on this car. Does not leak any fluids whatsoever. This car is definitely more then capable of doing a cross country trip. There are just a few things that make Smart cdi's unique and one of only about 120 or so here in the United States. It is powered by a Mercedes engineered turbo diesel that is well known for lasting hundreds of thousands of miles. This euro-spec version has been in production since 1998 and has been proven dependable. I can easily achieve 50 to 60 mpg and hits speeds of 75+ comfortably on the freeways. The transmission is a Tiptronic (no clutch manual or sometimes called "slap stick"). This model also has the selector switch for the fully automatic transmission feature. And finally, unlike the 2nd generation US models, it also has 6 speeds instead of the 5. Many questions always come up regarding servicing the car. An online manual is available from the website "Evilution". Ebay does not permit me to place the link in, but just Google it. There you will find a wonderful resource with helpful descriptions and pictures to help in performing repairs and maintenance. As for mechanics to do maintenance on the car; I always recommend contacting an independent mechanic specializing in European cars. Sometimes they employ mechanics fresh "off the boat" from Eastern Europe that have knowledge of these cars over there. Having disclosed that the car is a grey market car, please check your DMV to ensure it will title in your state. Kevin has a clear Florida title and will pass it on to the buyer. If you live in a state not listed, please check with your DMV or local title office to find out the procedures for titling gray market cars in your state. Be sure to mention it already has a clear Florida title. If you happen to live in a state that does not allow for this car (like California for example), please contact me first before getting too discouraged. I have read online of certain ways to get this car possibly through. Also, if financing the car, ensure your lender will finance it without a "blue book" value or NADA.
