Vehicle Detail
((MY CAMARO IS BEING REPOSTED WITH A MUCH LOWER RESERVE TO SELL)) ((PLEASE READ ALL AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE! THIS IS A GREAT CAR!)) I have a somewhat all original 1967 Survivor Camaro hard top coupe, that was sitting in a barn out in western Arizona for over 25 plus years! ((I AM NOW THE FOURTH TITLED OWNER OF THIS CAR)) I bought this car two minutes after seeing it with no engine, trans or rear end in it and had it shipped back to New Jersey. Shipping it was even a nightmare due to it not having a rear or any wheels and sitting on blocks! Since then I started the Costly transformation into a 450hp Street Legal 5 Speed Resto Mod!!! This Camaro was and still is (IN SOME AREAS) a blue on blue car. It also still has the original dash pad (all cracked) and door panels! Both doors open and close like new! All sheet metal is believed to be original and in good shape! Both rear quarters were at some point replaced and are like new! The frame in the car was solid to begin with and is a "Los Angeles" built Camaro. I also had the frame cleaned and undercoated. Next, I had the New frame connecters installed, New multi leaf rear springs, New front coil springs, All four New Shocks, New rear Traction bars, ((New Moser 12 bolt rear end with New Wilwood rear disc brakes)) All new front end including control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods etc. The engine is a custom built 383 stroker motor and includes all aluminum Edelbrock top end (heads intake and carb) roller cam and rockers. MSD Distributer, Blaster 2 coil and 6AL MSD multi spark box. New Holly electric fuel pump, New fuel regulator and New gas tank. Also has New Ceramic coated Hooker headers and 3" Flow master duel exhaust with chrome tips out the sides. Lastly, it has a New polished aluminum serpentine system and a New electric fan.The Transmission is a Brand New 5 Speed Richmond Aluminum Trans with a hydraulic clutch set up and works great! Hurst 5 speed competition plus chrome shifter and a custom made drive shaft with titanium u-joints.Lastly, this car never went to the "body shop" since I owned it and I did not feel that it needed it to. As much as I like to keep it and show it as "all original" it will need "some rust repair" in the trunk area, including the trunk pan, inner rear wheel wells, upper dash and passenger floor area. The rest of the car is solid! Fun to drive and sounds Awesome! I have enjoyed this car over the years and have thousands of dollars into it. You will Not be Disappointed! Thanks for reading and Good luck bidding!
