Vehicle Detail
I for sale a 2006 Pontiac Solstice. She has some issues mechanical, and cosmetic. However, she runs and drives really well, and everything inside the car works as it should including, cold a/c, good heater, radio with CD changer, XM, power windows, cruise. Everything inside the car works as it should. What needs attention:Currently has a check engine light (P0420) I have had a shop diagnosis this as bad valve guide seals. She has a very very intermitted white smoke on start up. It rarely happens (maybe once for every 20 times started) but it's enough for to throw a code. The shop put a quote at 400$ to change out the valve guide seals, or 150$ flash to remove the code. I'm including a 90 degree defouler and a new rear 02 sensor if the new owner wants to go that route. The shop also did a compression test and she's at 150 psi on all cylinders. Cosmetically she has some dents and dings, including the front bumper off by a hair. The airbag light is on. Dealer diagnosed as the passenger seat sensor. (common in these cars)Will need new shocks. (they are squeaky). The good!Runs good, tight clutch, and does not overheat! The paint is good. The top is good. Chrome rims (if you're into that kinda thing)Interior is clean.Everything works. All the recalls have been taken care of including the rear end and the ignition switch. I've driven this car personally all around the southwest and get a lot of compliments when I drive with the top down. Good driving car, at a fair price. Submit your best offer. Worse I can do is say no. Will help with shipping, but ultimately it's the buyers responsibility. I would keep her as she's a blast to drive, but I need tuition money for the spring.
