1954 GMC short wheel base 5 window truck. This truck is a completely rebuilt 235 Chevrolet with approx. 4K miles since complete rebuild and runs like new. The engine is tight with absolutely no leaks on engine, transmission, or rear end. The rear end has been changed to 355 gears for freeway cruising. The rest of the truck is totally stock and all mechanical systems work great along with all electrical. The paint is 50% original and still looks good but does have chips from years of use. The body is beautiful with no signs of ever being rusted or damaged. The rubber seals are new on the truck. It also comes with a Chevrolet 1 barrel manifold and a painted valve cover. The truck is in great mechanical condition with a nice body and frame but is not a show truck but more of a survivor. The truck would not take much to properly prep and paint it or it can be used as is and look better than most trucks on the road of this vintage. Before shipping them he noticed a crack in one of the wheels. He did not accept money from the buyer and didn't ship the wheels. The buyer was not happy and gave us a bad rating and our son didn't respond in time to clear it. We don't do a lot of Ebay sales but have been a member since 2011 with no other bad reviews. Have had several calls on the carburetors and guess I did not make it clear in the ad that the truck comes with an additional single carburetor manifold and a stock black valve cover. Other bidders have called and asked if the paint is show quality and I guess I didn't make this clear in the ad as not all of the paint is original and it does have nicks and scratches in it from years of use.
