Up for auction is a great survivor! This is a 1958 Ford F1 (F100) that has been kept clean and runs and drives great! Pics tell the story, very minimal rust for being 56 years old! Pics show where rust is. All numbers matching, previous owner babied this truck, adding the following: - Front Disc brakes from CCP Performance - C Notch and spring kit from CCP Performance - Pertronix Electronic Ingition - Motor completely rebuilt by Built Right Engines in Parkville, MO, runs like a sewing machine, very quiet. Hew Holly glass float bowl carb. - 3 speed on the tree, transmission rebuilt by local transmission shop - Custom one off 21" Mooneyes spun wheel covers - All new glass installed, except for wing vents (original glass) - Big meat 20" Dodge Steel wheels front and rearwith Goodyear 275/45 R20 tires, 80% tread left - stereo installed where visors were - new exhaust, new muffler, truck is very quiet. - All gauges work, except for vintage Sun tach (works intermittently, probably a loose wire?) - wipers work, all headlights, tail lights, blinkers, etc work as they should, as does the choke and fan/blower. - original radio still in the truck (doesnt work) - truck ALWAYS starts, never overheated, runs perfect even in 100+ degree weather. This is a fantastic old truck, one you can drive daily and work on the little things while cruising to car shows. Truck has made dozens of 2 hour+ trips at 70mph. Truck was a daily driver for the previous owner. Truck does not have power steering, but could be added easily. Truck brakes fantastic, does not pull, brakes straight as it should. Bed wood is rough cedar. Truck passed MO inspection every year, including this year 2014. Previous owner lived in MO. Title is a KS Antique title, clear and ready for the new owner.
