This Cabriolet is the one you will not find very often, if ever. It has been garage kept and not driven in the winter months. Only a couple minor rust spots that would be easy to repair. The engine and transmission are sound. Just had 4 new fuel injectors installed. Drove it every day for a couple years and never had a problem. The only reason I'm selling is to acquire a boat when I relocate to Florida. If I can't get enough response, I may end up keeping and move it to Florida. This little gem turns heads every time I take out. With relatively a small investment, this very well could be a show car. ( I've only spotted one show car in five years and they had butchered the restoration ) I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have. Here is a small list of items that could be replaced, that I already have purchased ( Dash light switch, Rear speakers, only one needs replacing but I have 2 new ones ) I also have acquired a new cooling fan switch, a master break cylinder, and touch up paint. I also have already installed drink cup holders, a convertible boot, life time muffler, new windshield, and VW valve stem covers. The A/C is not currently working ( I've never had a need to use ) This is a smoke free vehicle that I purchased 8 years ago from a dealership outside Chicago. It has not seen a winter and has been very reliable. A $500. deposit is required upon the end of auction and item must be paid for in full within 2 weeks and prior to pick up. Any other arrangements must be agreed upon prior to end of auction. I accept Paypal only, but will consider money order or a cleared certified check. You must pick up or make arrangements for pick up within 2 weeks. I have clear title for this vehicle.
