I am very reluctant to do this . But I have another bus I would like to ad to my collection so I have made the choice to list my 1964 Camper . This bus is in outstanding condition for a 50 year old VW bus . My 1964 Camper was completely redone at some point and was completely disassembled ,repainted inside and out. From all new seals , rebuild transmission , brake system , etc . I don't think there was one thing they didn't update or replace when it was restored . And in my opinion the work performed was done very well . The front floors are original and no rust . underneath this bus is amazing super solid and as it should be . I installed a very low mile rebuilt 1600cc single port ,with an alternator , The bus was already completely converted to a 12 volt system when I got it . Now like I said the bus was restored a few years ago and driven . so there is a few rock chips here and there . But the paint still looks fresh . Its much nicer than most buses I see at VW shows . I think if anyone rolled into a show with this bus , you just might have a crowd a people checking it out and loving it . The interior of the bus is so nice and im not certain of the model camper kit that is installed . But it is in great condition with original upholstery on the seat cushion's. The wood is all in great shape as well as the wood headliner . The Front seats are also original 50 year old seats . Never recovered !! The door panels are also originals and in incredible shape for 50 years of service . Which tells me this bus couldn't have a lot of miles on it . If it did the original front seats would be beat and in horrible shape . The speedo says 72,000 miles . If I knew its history and had documentation I would know more but I just don't have that . The front end is tight and nice , Bus comes with a new westy style roof rack , also has the original side tent and poles . Which as everyone knows is a hard to find thing . Another rare feature is the Original tool kit in its original bag also comes with the bus . In the dash is a beautiful original radio . I think I could talk about how great this bus is all day . But look at the pictures . They speak for themselves . If you are looking for a very complete rust free , great driver bus . This is road worthy , currently licensed and titled in my name . Jump in and go . The attention you will receive cruising around will blow your mind . This bus is a true piece of history . And is very collectable . Buses like this will only appreciate in value as the years go by . Which makes investing in a classic VW bus a better investment than the stock market .
